As General Manager of Construction, Bill oversees all aspects of construction, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. With more than 35 years of experience, Bill has successfully led over $1.5 billion in projects within the renewable energy, power generation, and chemical industries.  

Bill was first exposed to engineering while working in the US Navy Nuclear Power Program, ultimately leading him to a career in mechanical engineering and construction. Over the course of his career, Bill has contributed to several notable projects, including building the first and only cellulose-to-fuel plant and working on the Incident Command Staff of the BP Oil Spill. 

Before joining Shimizu North America, Bill managed a renewable energy division, where he drove success across multiple projects including biomass facilities, solar farms, and biofuel facilities. Bill has earned recognition for his ability to navigate complex regulatory environments, manage cross-functional teams, and integrate cutting-edge construction solutions into practical, cost-effective builds. His expertise in project management and operations leadership is critical to the success of our construction business.  

Bill is a proud alum of the University of Idaho where he received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Outside of work, he has served as a volunteer fireman and competed as a professional racecar driver for 12 years. These days, he enjoys visiting the beaches along the Florida panhandle and spends his free time boating, restoring cars, and riding his dirt bike.
