As Vice President of Corporate Services, Takanori “Kaki” Kakishita oversees the company’s administrative, financial, and operational functions that are key to the company’s ongoing success.
Before joining SNA, Kaki spent nearly two decades in several branch offices of Shimizu Corporation, including Tohoku, Kansai, Singapore, and Tokyo headquarters. Kaki began his career on a construction site in an administrative role, where he gained firsthand knowledge of field operations and the daily challenges of project delivery. He later joined Shimizu Corporation’s administration team, where he contributed to company-wide process improvements and strategic planning. Eventually, Kaki took on responsibilities in finance and accounting, developing the expertise that now guides the company’s financial performance and long-term business growth strategy.
Kaki aims to foster collaboration across departments and ensure that Shimizu North America continues to operate with efficiency and integrity. He is passionate about continuing to deliver excellence for our team members, clients, and partners.
Kaki earned his MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Outside of work, he enjoys making ikura (cured salmon roe), camping, and traveling with his family.
